Multinational manufacturers sign up for Gulf Print 2005

The exceptional growth of the UAE print market is reflected in this year's 'Gulf Print 2005'.
Gulf Print is a B2B event, which includes exhibition, seminars, workshops and events.
Xerox will be one of the main exhibitors at this year's event. As a first time exhibitor, they will be showcasing their broadest digital product range. The selection on show will include high speed printing systems from Xerox Docucolour and Xerox Nuvera families. Xerox will also have demonstrations on the stand of the printing process from start to finish.
Seven Oaks International and Proteck MEA - first time exhibitors, will be marketing Mitsubishi Litho Machines from Japan and own products like World's first servo controlled, stop motion, double diameter cylinder screen press; Paper Cutting System with Variable cutting speed by knife velocity control; High Speed Tower Coater; CTP and Conventional PS Plate Processors.
Another attraction this year is "Ask the User Forum", which gives the opportunity for potential customers to obtain first hand information on how the latest CTP technology performs directly from end users who have bought CTP presses from Heidelberg, Presstek, Creo and AGFA present at the show. This is a platform to bring together manufacturers, CTP end users, and visitors from all aspects of print technology to put forward questions, exchange ideas, views and information.
The Forum, hosted by Gulf Print, takes place at the event's Media Stage area. According to Gulf Print's Project Manager, Lina Alousta, "It's an opportunity buyer's welcome as they consider the various requirements of their business to suit their needs within their own printing press."
At the Media Stage visitors will get the chance to meet invited guest speakers who will cover various topics on CTP's.

To date, the list of companies participating includes all leaders within the print and graphics trade. There will be much for visitors to see; Heidelberg who headline the printing press sector, Kodak and DuPont will offer a wide range of consumables. An area, which features strongly at this year's exhibition presenting inks, foils, adhesives, laminates, cleaning fluids and films. Eukalin of Germany, Petrel of France and Flexoclean from Holland will also be exhibiting. Gravure printing presses from H C Moog will be shown with screen printing lines from Sakuri of Japan. Also to be seen is new flexo line from Gidue of Italy and large format offset presses from Akiyama.
Post press products include doctor blades from Swedev; guillotines from Nagai, wire stitching machines from Maguinas Miruna of Brazil and small perfect binding machines from CP Bourg of Belgium.
HP will be focusing on high-end inkjet and laser printers; and will have a series of workshops. The latest software is also a key part of this year's event and HP will be introducing new software applications from Quark represented by Layout Middle East.
In 2004 Gulf Print had exhibitors from over 24 countries and visitors from over 71 countries. To date interest in the upcoming 2005 event has increased by 50% since last year.
Recognised by the Chamber of Commerce as a top ten business, Gulf Print reaches a worldwide market and is a very well received event.
