This first of its kind initiative meant that customers could send money in minutes* via the Western Union network of over 225,000 Agent locations across 195 countries and territories worldwide.

In view of the success of this service provision at post office locations, BBK in its capacity as a Western Union Authorized Agent has extended certification to two more post office locations (Adliya and Bahrain Mall). As such, customers can transfer money from Manama, Muharraq, Isa Town, Budaiya, Adliya, or Bahrain Mall post office locations.

Each of the post offices has been provided with the necessary system capabilities and training required to provide the highest level of service. The ease of money transfers via Western Union is built upon:

• Speed*
• A unique worldwide network
• The convenience of over 225,000 Agent locations, from which customers can easily send or receive money
• The fact that no membership or bank account is necessary to use this service

* Payment is subject to Agents locations hours of operation, differences in time zones.

BBK continues to assist consumers and businesses to transfer money from every one of its 17 branches and with the post-offices added as service providers, the Western Union money transfer network in Bahrain continues to grow.
