The award was presented during DTG's annual worldwide convention earlier this month in Las Vegas, and was hotly contested by DTG franchises from across Europe, the Middle East, Asia and the Americas, with Thrifty UAE a clear winner.
Rahul Singh, general manager, Thrifty Dubai and Northern Emirates, and Khaiser Pasha, general manager, Thrifty Abu-Dhabi and Al-Ain, were presented with the honors for Thrifty UAE's outstanding performance in the last calendar year, which included the opening of 5 new Thrifty outlets across the UAE and the addition of 1000 new cars to the existing fleet.

This year's convention was well attended by more than 950 franchisees, employees and guests of Dollar Rent a Car and Thrifty Car Rental worldwide including a number of key representatives from the Middle East.
