Watch & Jewellery sales set to rocket as Eid approaches

The sales of watches and jewellery are set to shoot up in the Middle East region as the festival of Eid approaches according to world-leading watch & jewellery house Van Cleef & Arpels.

"The sales of watch and jewellery in this region tend to accelerate and most high-end jewellers and watch dealers stock up on inventory driven by strong sales ahead of the Eid holidays,"


said Stephane De Palmas, Director of Van Cleef & Arpels.

He noted that the festive season bodes well for watch retailers and jewellers and revitalises sales on a prolonged basis all the way to the Christmas and year-end holidays thereby sustaining strong demand for watches and jewellery particularly in the premium-end segment till the year-end.
