The sites can be accessed by logging on to www.mb-me.com/sclass/en for the English version and www.mb-me.com/sclass/ar for those who prefer to read in Arabic.

'Using audio elements and 3-D animations, the interactive microsite allows web surfers to explore the history of the S-Class, learn about the product highlights and understand the improved safety features,'

said Johannes Fritz, Director, Sales and Marketing, Mercedes Car Group.

The history section looks at the previous eight generations of S-Class and explains the industry-leading innovations that were introduced with each model.

The product section highlights the many advances introduced in the new S-Class including the world's leading night vision system and the second generation PRESAFE that recognises potential accident situations as they arise. If braking deceleration exceeds a certain level or a skid is imminent, the system tensions the front seat belts as a precaution and inflates air cushions in the multi-contour seats to envelop and support the driver and passengers.
The award-winning Mercedes-Benz Middle East web site is highly popular across the region attracting an average of 32,000 visits a month.
