Air France increasing its capacity in Dubai

Last March 2005, Air France added five weekly flights on the Dubai-Paris-Dubai route, bringing the total number from 7 to 12 per week, offering passengers a choice of a day and a night flight.

As of October 30th, Air France will introduce the Boeing B777-200 on its daily night flight, one of the latest in Air France fleet. This new aircraft is equipped with a tri-class configuration seating 270 passengers and offering 12 seats in L'Espace Première (First class), 56 seats in L'Espace Affaires (Business class) and 202 seats in Tempo (Economy class). Each class offers facilities for unparalleled comfort, relaxation and entertainment. Flights depart from Dubai at 02.10 and arrive at 06.30 in Paris. From Paris to Dubai flights depart at 13.15 and arrive at 22.45.

The day flights are operated everyday except Fridays and Sundays by an Airbus A330-200 seating 211 passengers, including as well a tri-class service.

Flights leave at 12.50 from Dubai airport and land in Paris Charles de Gaulle airport at 17.20.

From Paris to Dubai, flights are operated everyday except on Thursdays and Saturdays to depart at 23.20 and arrive at 08.55 the next day.

Bernard Aubreton, Air France General Manager Gulf, Saudi Arabia, Iran & Pakistan said:

"The introduction of the Boeing B777 on the Dubai- Paris route will increase our seat capacity by 16% per week. It is the result of the booming development of the business activity in Dubai as well as an increasing demand of European tourists visiting this ever growing city."


As well, when flying before December 15th, Flying blue members (resident in UAE) will earn double Flying Blue Miles on the Dubai-Paris route. Bringing them twice as close to earning airline tickets and upgrades.
