The summit places a high level of importance on the development of Iraq's defence, security and communications sectors, which are fundamental to the country's continued development. The attendance of the ministers, along with earlier confirmations from the Ministers of Defence, Science & Technology, Communications and the Prime Minister's Personal Advisor on Security will prove crucial to the success of the event, providing the practical and technological solutions and training urgently required.

The last few sponsorship opportunities still remain for companies who wish to put their products and services in front of the ministries and who wish to engage in private consultation over the course of the two days. The event will incorporate two full afternoons of networking with the ministries allowing delegates to fully understand the Iraqis requirements.

This landmark event has already attracted some of the worlds leading companies including Boeing, EADS, Sun Microsystems, KBR, Tyco, ArmorGroup, AEGIS Defence, Control Risks, Janusian Security, MTC Atheer Telecom, Orascom, Fluor/AMEC, MCI and Washington Group International.
