"The signing of this agreement is a momentous occasion for Bin Hendi Enterprises," explained Mr Mohi-Din Binhendi at the recent signing ceremony.
"We made the decision to purchase 50 per cent of the channel, as we see it complementing our existing businesses perfectly. INTV's focus is on industries we know very well and have been operating in for the past 31 years as retailers in the fashion, accessories and dining arena. The channel is nearing its first year on air, and we aim to build upon INTV's strong platform and take it to the next level,"
he added.
The channel is broadcast on Nilesat and Showtime, and was conceived as a 24 hour English language infotainment channel for the growing affluent and multicultural population of Dubai.
"Everyone wants to know about what is happening in the city, whether a resident or a visitor. INTV is a visual guide of events and activities coming up and a record of events that have recently occurred, in this sense it is entertainment and information combined in a most stimulating format," explained Mr Ali Mahmood, Partner, INTV.
"We are very motivated by becoming part of Bin Hendi Enterprises. As a Dubai based company specialising in the lifestyle, fashion, dining and entertainment arena, we feel it is a great match to our philosophy, and with Mr Mohi-Din Binhendi's vision and guidance, INTV is set to go from strength to strength," he added.
Bin Hendi Enterprises will soon be announcing new developments in programme content and other areas of the channel, part of an ambitious drive to take INTV to new heights in terms of viewership and to become the preferred Dubai city guide for residents and visitors.
