  • PRESS RELEASE

Cellucom, the premier distributor of mobile communication devices and one of the fastest-growing retail chains in the region is providing its customers a chance to become millionaires, by giving away Postcard Millionaire cards free with every purchase at Cellucom.

Cellucom is the title sponsor of the Postcard Millionaire campaign organised by Emirates Post. The Postcard Millionaire campaign has been running successfully since the past two years, and the last three weekly draws were held in Cellucom stores across Dubai.

With the purchase of a Postcard Millionaire pack containing four postage paid postcards, a free raffle coupon is given away, in addition to instant prizes. However, as part of a special promotion from Cellucom, the mobile retailer is giving away the raffle coupons free with every purchase of mobile phones and accessories from any of the Cellucom stores in Dubai, making them eligible for both the weekly draw and the grand draw.

"We are always looking for new ways to reward our customers for their loyalty. We had seen the excitement around the Postcard Millionaire draw, and decided that it would be a good idea to give away these raffle coupons and postcards to our customers. We are glad that several of our customers have a chance to become millionaires in the coming weeks,"
said Arun Nagar, Managing Director, Cellucom.

Ahmad Tahlak, CEO, Emirates Marketing and Promotions, said, "Since several decades, Dubai has been known for its hype around raffle draws. However, the Postcard Millionaire is the only draw that happens weekly till the end of the year, which means that every week someone will definitely be a winner. The success and popularity of the Postcard Millionaire cards have crossed all our expectations, and Cellucom's special promotion has ensured that a larger number of people in Dubai have a chance to win attractive prizes."

"We chose to sponsor the Postcard Millionaire bonanza because it synchronized with our continuous efforts in organizing and sponsoring events that communicate important values to the youth. Further, the use of the latest technologically-dependent communication systems have almost completely replaced traditional methods such as postcards and hand-written letters, and campaigns such as these will help in keeping alive old forms of communication," added Nagar.
