Princess Sumaya University for Technology names Basheer Abu-Elasal as President of its new Executive Council

Princess Sumaya University for Technology's (PSUT) Alumni Association's Executive Council last week unanimously named Mr. Basheer Abu-Elasal as their President.
Dr. Omar Al-Otoum, General Coordinator of PSUT's Alumni Association, stated, "The elections are a milestone in PSUT's Alumni Association's path; which aims to provide a communication link between the University and its alumni and friends whereby its programs will keep members informed about and interested in the continued development of PSUT. The aim of these programs is to strengthen the University so it can continue to fulfill and expand its mission of teaching, research and service to build closer ties and relationships between its members and the university."
Dr. Al-Otoum added, "PSUT Alumni Club also aims to promote the participation of its members in cultural, scientific and social activities taking place at PSUT, to maintain personal and academic interaction and the exchange of knowledge between the alumnae and undergraduates."
Furthermore, Mr. Basheer Abu-Elasal, the newly elected president of PSUT's Alumni Association, expressed his warm appreciation and gratitude to his colleagues at the Executive Council on his appointment, and stated, "I am truly honored, and I have great regard for PSUT, its staff, faculty, students, and Alumni. It is a community I am proud to be a member of." He continued, "The Association will proactively work on mentoring and counseling PSUT's students, and involving club members in different activities ranging from social, academic, and sports."
