Tech Data invests in Mid-East operation expansion

The new ERP system (enterprise resource planning), streamlines the flow of operations at Tech Data and underpins the company's unique ability in delivering the fastest and most cost effective logistics management to the IT industry in the region. Tech Data ran 25 days of training to its staff to familiarize them with the system. "Key to the success of the new system was planning which included identification of key business processes and parties involved and 100% commitment by personnel. The new system has unlimited scalability to allow further integration of new models as Tech Data moves its operations and client base further towards web-based operations.
