OFIS, the furniture, flooring and interior solutions business of the Easa Saleh Al Gurg group, recently completed projects to furnish a number of Dubai Government offices and facilities.

The office furnishings company forecasts a growth of 35 per cent for 2006.

"It is evident from the property and construction industry boom that the demand for specially designed, high quality office furniture systems is increasing rapidly," said Ajai Dayal, General Manager, Retail and Marketing, Easa Saleh Al Gurg Group.

OFIS supplied and installed a combination of its furniture and flooring brands at Dubai Economic Department, Dubai Courts and it is currently furnishing Dubai's Public Prosecution Department offices.

Italian furniture brand Della Valentina was used to build free-standing desk and storage units of modular office systems, and Benel was used for seating. The flooring of the projects was completed using German wooden flooring brand Parador and UK-based, leading carpet tile brand Interface.

"The Gulf's office interiors sector accounts for approximately 10-15 per cent of the region's multibillion dollar furnishing industry. Despite the rapid growth of this segment and increasingly competition, we are proud to have not only maintained our position in the industry but to have experienced further growth," said Dayal.

"We offer complete solutions for all stages of furnishing, from assistance in the product selection to final installation, the Dubai Government projects are prestigious business wins for OFIS and reinforce the brands growing reputation."
