New homeopathy specialist at Dubai Herbal & Treatment Centre

Starting a practice back in South Africa with his brother in 1999, Dr Penny specialises in child healthcare through the application of homeopathy, phytotherapy and selective allopathic medicine in the area of primary health care.

Dr Penny practices an advanced form of clinical homoeopathy known as homotoxicology. This is more of an indications based form of homoeopathy that has proven itself to be very effective in the management of a wide variety of common childhood illnesses.

"The reason I chose this field, is because I saw the opportunity to work closely with people and assist them in trying to achieve optimal health in a way that is unlikely to cause then any additional harm," Dr Penny said.

According to Dr Penny, it is a fact that a large number of commonly prescribed drugs, which carry with them some nasty side effects, need not be prescribed if the person were to change their diet, exercise and supplementation habits.

"I am determined to do all I can to assist in the education of patients, and especially the parents of children I see."

The centre currently offers complementary medicine in traditional Chinese medicine, ayurveda, dermatology, manual lymphatic drainage, chiropractic and homeopathy.
