The Awards, which first began in 1993, have become a benchmark for excellence in the industry. This year's voting campaign reached 176,000 travel professionals including 110,000 travel agents throughout 200 countries.
This year, the Awards Ceremony - the 12th since the event began and the second to be staged in Europe - will be held in London's Royal Opera House on November 13, the evening before World Travel Market (WTM) 2005 trade show. The glittering event will be attended by leading industry professionals as well as the world's press and broadcast media.
