Mazda6 now available at Towell Auto Centre with 785 times refined aggression

After completion of the first-generation Mazda6, further research and development on the theme of "refined aggression" was carried out, aimed at a more stylish and aggressive evolution of the Mazda6. These efforts paid off in terms of even greater refinement of Mazda6's signature driving pleasure, which redefines the "Zoom-Zoom" feel of driving a Mazda. This is all about rediscovering the child within you and the fun the kid had with motion.

The new Mazda6 is clearly a statement of added style and aggression, with more sporty and sophisticated enhancements to the exterior and interior, engines, transmissions and enhanced suspension attributes. These enhancements have been incorporated in all the three body styles- Mazda6 Sedan, 5-door Mazda6 Sport and All New Mazda6 Sport Touring, which deliver high levels of "refined maturity" intended at making each segment's outstanding cars even better.

The Mazda6's exterior represents athleticism combined with refinement, sophistication and a bold road presence. The face lifted Mazda6 now takes these attributes one step further to provide all three models, a sportier look by refining the front and rear of the car. A new upper grille has been designed to give a more distinct and three-dimensional look. The lower bumper has been modified for a more aggressive look and the front bumper, redesigned with fog lights. The Mazda6 now comes with new optional 18-inch aluminium alloy wheels. The wrap-around taillights have black bezels matching the headlights, to emphasise the cars wide stance.

The interior of the new Mazda6 showcases a quality feel with trim, sporty seats and centre panel design. One of the most attractive features of this car is the roomy interior coupled with the ergonomically adjustable driver environment. The Karakuri facility allows the rear seats to be folded down flat by merely operating a lever leading to 501 litres of usable luggage space. The quality of the colours and materials has been improved and thicker cushion material added to the armrests for a softer, higher quality feel.

On the safety front all the three Mazda6 vehicles have been further improved with Mazda Advanced Impact Distribution and Absorption System (MAIDAS) body for higher rigidity and greater safety. Body rigidity has been upgraded to realize a tougher passenger cabin with a higher capacity to protect occupants from injury in a collision. Interior safety features include a crushable brake pedal designed to reduce leg injuries to drivers in the event of a frontal collision.

The Mazda6 active safety package comes with robust four-wheel disc brakes, ABS (Antilock Braking System) and EBD (Electronic Braking Distribution) System as standard. A collapsible brake pedal that helps reduce the risk of leg injuries to the driver in case of frontal impact is present inside, completed with front and side airbags.
