Jumeirah wins big at annual World Travel Awards

Jumeirah, the young and dynamic Dubai-based luxury hospitality group that has recently expanded in to the US, took the title of 'Middle East's Leading Hotel Brand' at the World Travel Awards last night.

In addition, three of Jumeirah's hotels in Dubai; Burj Al Arab, Madinat Jumeirah, The Arabian Resort - Dubai and Jumeirah Emirates Towers, received a string of top accolades.

Burj Al Arab, Jumeirah's flagship hotel, won three separate titles at the Awards ceremony that took place in London last night. The world famous hotel was titled 'World's Leading Hotel', 'World's Leading All-Suite Hotel' and 'Middle East's Leading Hotel'.

Madinat Jumeirah, The Arabian Resort - Dubai, that opened its doors in August 2004, also enjoyed success on the evening, taking four high profile awards. The Resort, which includes two grand boutique hotels, courtyard summer houses, a traditional souk, the Six Senses Spa, the region's leading conference and banqueting centre, recreational facilities and the superlative Quay Health Club, won 'Middle East's Leading Resort', 'World's Leading Conference Resort', 'Dubai's Leading Resort' and 'Middle East's Leading Conference Hotel'.

Jumeirah's dedicated business hotel, Jumeirah Emirates Towers, also won two prestigious awards at the awards ceremony. The luxury city hotel received the awards for 'World's Leading Business Hotel' and 'Dubai's Leading Hotel'.

"As a dedicated luxury business hotel, I am delighted that Jumeirah Emirates Towers has been recognised as the 'World's Leading Business Hotel' and 'Dubai's Leading Hotel'. We are constantly introducing innovative services to stay ahead of the latest business trends. We were pleased to launch the Chopard floor in February this year, an entire floor of the hotel that is for ladies only, taking in to consideration the needs of our female business guests," said Doris Greif, General Manager, Jumeirah Emirates Towers.
