National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD) launched a quarterly lecture series titled Awareness Sharing Knowledge (A.S.K.) during 2005 with the objective of organizational learning and information sharing with its stakeholders, primarily targeted at introducing best practices and elaborating upon latest trends in the market place.

Following the success of the first two lectures of the A.S.K series held in March and June 2005, NBAD hosted the third on November 14th, 2005 at its head office in Abu Dhabi, wherein attendance is by invitation only.

The guest speaker, Mr. Christopher Sims, Chief Executive Officer, ALDAR, gave a talk on 'Current Prospects in the Real Estate Industry in Abu Dhabi'. The Bank trusts that, its customers, stakeholders and general members of the society would benefit from this interesting and informative lecture on the future investment prospects in the UAE, especially in Abu Dhabi.

"We see 2006 as a year of constant change and rapid growth, particularly in the real estate segment. With changes in property law and huge investments both in commercial and residential infrastructure development in 2006, we are pleased to host Mr. Christopher Sims, CEO, ALDAR, a noted authority on the real estate developments in the UAE." stated Abdulla M S AbdulRaheem, Chief Operating Officer of National Bank of Abu Dhabi and the A.S.K Forum Chairperson, in a press release issued to the media.

The third lecture proved to be a success, much in the same league as the previous two. "As the No.1 bank, we foresee this lecture as an opportunity for the UAE nationals and expatriates to expand their peripheral vision and gain an insight on the real estate boom in the UAE." he added.
