- PRESS RELEASE
A high profile seminar for the upper management officials of Dubai Municipality was organized on Sunday at JW Marriot Hotel.
The seminar was presented by Robert B Camp, the world famous American expert in benchmarking, who is also known as the inventor of the benchmarking method.
The Municipality organized the seminar as it is keen to enhance and develop the professional skills of its leadership by providing them the opportunity to attend regional conferences and seminars that will brief them on the latest in the field of knowledge, management and technology.
It provided the participants an objective understanding, insight, an expert opinion and a deeper understanding of best practices. It reinforced how major performance improvement can be achieved by focusing on key, core cross-functional processes and illustrated how benchmarking, as part of a comprehensive program of planned change, can be used as the "approach of choice" for improvement.
The seminar also discussed best practices over a wide cross-section of applications in both the public and private sectors.
It emulates the best of the best to achieve a quantum leap improvement in process output, quality, customer satisfaction, cycle time and the resulting cost and asset utilization effectiveness. The seminar also helped the participants learn how to establish, support, sustain and effectively expand and intensify best practice projects and programs.
