  • United Arab Emirates: Tuesday, November 15 - 2005 at 16:51
  • PRESS RELEASE

Yesterday saw the opening of the World Travel Market (WTM) at the ExCel Centre in London's Docklands. WTM lasts until the 17th November and close to 50,000 members of the travel trade and media worldwide are expected to visit the show over the course of the event.

Emirates has a strong presence at the show with a stand of some 125 square metres. As well as Emirates Airline itself, the Emirates' Destination and Leisure Management division, which includes Al Maha, Emirates Holidays and Arabian Adventures, is also displaying at the show.

New Emirates Group developments such as the Emirates Marina Serviced Apartments & Spa and Wolgan Valley in Australia's Blue Mountains - Emirates' first luxury conservation resort outside of the U.A.E. - are predominantly displayed on the Emirates stand and are expected to create a great deal of interest at the show.

A team of representatives from Emirates Airline and its sister companies Emirates Holidays, Arabian Adventures and Al Maha, including Keith Longstaff, Emirates Senior Vice President Commercial Operations Europe, and Hans Haensel, Emirates Senior Vice President Destination & Leisure Management, are on site at The World Travel Market to meet clients, business partners and media during the show.
