Iomega and ABM introduces Mac mini external hard drive in the Middle East

To be distributed solely through ABM, the storage device sports up to a 250 gigabyte hard drive along with three USB 2.0 and three FireWire ports that act as a hub for the mini.
With characteristic Mac mini styling, the new HDD has been designed with flexibility in mind. It is a perfect companion to the Mac mini and can function as a complete Mac hub. The unique design of the drive means that it is equally at home stacked with the Mac mini or functioning independently as a stylish desktop HDD for Mac or PC users.

The MiniMax HDD comes with Dantz Retrospect and Iomega Automatic Backup Pro software for hassle-free backups and data recovery. This allows users to schedule regular updates, designate multiple backup locations and manage other backup tasks.

In addition to the drive and extra ports, the MiniMax features a "smart power switch" that allows the device to automatically power up and shut down with the Mac mini. It also features a cooling system that uses active and passive cooling elements.
