2006 Chevrolet Spark arrives across the Middle East

Providing all the zip a driver needs to be hip, Chevrolet's latest offering, the Spark makes its highly-anticipated entrance onto the regional automotive scene, arriving in showrooms in November.

In addition to its funky European-inspired style, diverse colour palette and striking design elements, the Spark boasts remarkable fuel economy, storage capacity and affordability as well as an impressive array of comfort and convenience features, proving once and for all that bigger isn't necessarily always better.

Features on the new Spark will include power-assisted steering, electrically operated front windows, central locking and a height-adjustable driver's seat and seat belt. The Spark also boasts a range of convenience features normally found only in much larger and more expensive cars, including air conditioning and a CD player with MP3 capability.

"In addition to cute looks and an endearing personality, the Spark has all the excitement , safety and value-for-money that are the hallmarks of the Chevrolet brand," says Chris Probert, regional marketing manager for Chevrolet Cars.

"Its arrival in the Middle East provides young or first-time drivers with a fantastic opportunity to get out and get involved with the city they live in."


With the choice of a 0.8L or 1.0L engine, as well as manual and automatic transmission options, the Spark is sure to prove a valuable addition to the Chevrolet line-up.
