The announcement was made at DPG's monthly networking event which hosted Arif Obaid Al-Muhairi Director of Statistics Center, who presented the latest real estate statistical trends for the past period. The session was also utilized by the Statistics Center to gain feedback from the real estate community in terms of the statistics required to support decision makers and investors evaluate the market.
"Our decision to enter into this strategic alliance with DPG was based on the fact that real estate in the Emirate of Dubai has become a huge economic force, attracting investment from all around the world. This means that business people and investors in the real estate sector need more detailed information presented to them in a specific manner," said Al-Muhairi.
"With DPG's prestigious member list and its ability to reach regional and international investors, this alliance will surely add value and assist in attracting local, regional and international real estate investment."
The Statistics Center is the official source responsible for providing statistical data in the Emirate of Dubai, as stipulated in Law No. (7) of the year 2001. The Statistics Center undertakes statistical activities, carrying out the general census of population, and the count of housing and establishments. The Statistics Centre conducts economic and social statistical surveys and publishes statistical books and bulletins, for the Emirate of Dubai as a whole.
