A top Mitsubishi official said that based on the retail activity data collected from Alesayi Motors, the exclusive distributor of Mitsubishi Motors vehicles in the Kingdom's leading markets, the company's Pajero, Lancer, L200, Fuso and Canter vehicles were among the best-selling brands.

Confirming that Mitsubishi Motors will continue to pursue in its relentless efforts to emerge as the No 1 vehicle of choice in Saudi Arabia, Osamu Masuko, President of the Mitsubishi Motors Corporation, explained:
"Mitsubishi Motors' rapid growth in the Kingdom has been as a result of the strong market penetration of its distributor, Alesayi Motors, who understand local requirements and are equipped with the necessary sales and service infrastructure to support its increasing sales."

Speaking yesterday at the launch of the new Alesayi Motors showroom in Khurais, Riyadh, Masuko pointed out that Saudi Arabia represented an important international market for Mitsubishi Motors, contributing 40 percent to the total GCC sales.

"MMC will continue to consolidate its encouraging growth in this crucial market by introducing some of the most ground-breaking automotive concepts regularly," he added. "It is a tall order but I am confident that MMC along with local GCC distributors will stand up to this task."

Emphasizing that the opening of the new showroom was a new landmark in Alesayi's 30-year-old relationship with Mitsubishi Motors, Sheikh Saeed Omar Alesayi, Chief Executive Officer of Alesayi Motors said, "We have been synonymous with providing a perfect customer satisfaction experience as well as a stable sales support," he added. "It is these attributes that every customer examines while deciding on his new car."

Alesayi said that the rising profile of Mitsubishi Motors in the Kingdom made it imperative for the company to upgrade its facilities and establish a state-of-the-art showroom that is fully equipped to enable customers to choose their vehicles in a comfortable environment.

Spread over 8,500 square meters, the massive Alesayi Motors showroom hosts spacious offices, an extensive car inspection area, new car delivery section and distinctive display areas for each vehicle. The showroom also has a relaxing reception area that is fronted by a courtesy lounge and equipped with all amenities and services to cater to the needs of the waiting customers.

Bert Van Dijk, Senior Vice President, Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation, described the new showroom as a great achievement by Alesayi Motors.
