Taking place for only the second time, the Security & Safety Exhibition and Conference - Middle East 2005 in Abu Dhabi witnessed not only an impressive rise in visitor numbers but also in exhibitors coming from all over the world - AGT being among them.

"In the dense and competitive market of security technology, only those who offer the best and most sustainable solutions can satisfy the increasing need for security and safety equipment in the region,'
says Mr. Anas Chbib, Managing Director of AGT, during an interview at Security & Safety 2005 in Abu Dhabi.

Advanced German Technology (AGT) which has always followed this strategy brought together some of its best German partners for physical security at Security & Safety 2005, including global players such as Tescon and Datasec.

Tescon, a company from Salzgitter in Germany is the leading manufacturer when it comes to road block systems, tyre-killers, barriers, gates, bollards, turnstiles, metal detectors, and armored vehicles. Tescon's references for 2005 speak for themselves: The Ministry of Defense in Russia and Egypt, HSBC Banks in India, the Royal Palaces in Great Britain, and the Presidential Residence in Tashkent (Usbekistan). These are only a few of the many addresses enjoying Tescon's reassuring presence.

Datasec on the other hand is a German specialist for access control of a different kind providing the latest in contactless ID access control, biometric systems (fingerprint and iris recognition), smart management systems for keys and valuables, and digital video systems (car-plate surveillance systems).

The German Parliament and Ministry of the Interior, various embassies and airports in Europe, the National Bank of Poland, a couple of German banks and police stations, as well as numerous German hospitals and universities belong to Datasec's endless list of references.
However, this is only a fraction of what AGT has to offer since network forensic, IP monitoring, ABC explosive detection systems, and high secured server rooms can also be counted within AGT's portfolio of physical security.

What makes AGT so special in the overcrowded market of security technology is quite simple: AGT enables what many businesses in the region seek, namely turn-key solutions based on state-of-the-art technology from Germany.

"Since competition in the market for security technology has become so fierce, most businesses find it difficult to detect the right partner for their security needs. The search for the best security technology thus becomes a hassle, especially since most companies are looking for a whole package of security equipment ranging from IT-security to the protection of buildings, factories and properties," adds to Mr. Chbib.

'That is why AGT has become so successful in the region. As a leading system integrator in the security technology market, AGT and its partners offer one-stop solutions in all security related projects. Mr. Chbib indicates that one-stop solutions are mostly appreciated by those companies which would rather deal with one business partner than with many concerning such a delicate issue like security."

As a result, AGT experienced great feedback at Security & Safety 2005, especially from decision makers coming from regional ministries and banks where highest security standards are a must.
