Bombardier, ExecuJet and Alpha 55 inaugurate Dubai service centre and parts depot

The facility offers a full spectrum of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, critical spare parts and warranty services for the region's increasing number of Learjet, Challenger and Global aircraft customers.

This impressive service centre features 24,000 square feet (2,230 sq m) of hangar space and two maintenance bays capable of accommodating two super-large Global Express XRS ultra long-range business jets and two Challenger aircraft at the same time. It is staffed by more than 50 trained full-time engineers, technicians, crew and support staff and offers 24-hour Aircraft On Ground (AOG) maintenance and parts support.

The adjacent 2,800-square-foot (260-sq-m) service parts depot will house over 860 high-demand parts for Learjet, Challenger and Global aircraft and will be open 24 hours per day,
365 days per year. Inventory will begin arriving next month and the depot is scheduled to be fully operational by early 2006.

ExecuJet is the exclusive Middle East representative for the sale of Learjet aircraft and has offered Bombardier business jet charters since 1999. An integral part of the new Dubai venture is the service parts depot. Through its expanding parts distribution network, Bombardier continues to ensure operators can obtain competitively priced parts in the right place at the right time. Four international parts depots are now serviced by a world-class inventory management system operating in two super warehouses in Chicago, United States and Frankfurt, Germany. A fifth depot located in Sao Paulo, Brazil will open in early 2006.
