Shell to showcase its range of energy products and solutions for the aviation industry at Dubai 2005 Airshow

Shell, a global energy leader has announced that it will showcase its range of energy products and solutions for the aviation industry at Dubai 2005 Airshow, the Ninth International Aerospace Exhibition to be held from November 20-24, 2005.

The Airshow is expected to attract over 600 exhibitors from around 36 countries who will display the latest products and technologies to the visiting official and trade delegations from around the world.

"Our participation in Dubai Airshow has been an integral part of Shell's agenda over the years, as it presents an ideal platform for us to demonstrate our offering to the aviation sector and gives us an opportunity to show our commitment to government initiatives in the region,"

"From our base in Dubai, Shell Aviation serves the needs of customers across the Middle East and South Asia. We supply high quality products such as aviation fuel to leading airlines in the region, and we have achieved an impressive growth rate in this market."

From its main offices in Dubai, Shell companies' market a range of oil and chemical products across the UAE. Shell's customers include motorists, industrial users, airlines and several trading and global solutions companies.

Shell has a 25,000 square metre purpose-built chemicals terminal and depot at Jebel Ali, which supplies a wide range of petrochemical products to customers, and is an example of Shell's continuing commitment to the economy and future prosperity of the UAE.

Further, Shell has fuel depots at Dubai International Airport and Sharjah Airport in the UAE, which are equipped to supply Jet A1 as well as provide 'into plane service'. Shell also has a presence in leading airports in Oman, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan. The company also supplies the complete portfolio of aero shell lubricants such as greases, fluids, turbine engine oils and piston engine oils.
