Young Arab Leaders - UAE Chapter holds a meeting with former US President Bill Clinton

The Young Arab Leaders - UAE Chapter held a meeting with the former US President Bill Clinton who expressed a special interest in meeting the members of the organization as they represent Arab leaders from diverse fields.

The meeting was attended by Saeed Al Muntafiq, Chairman of the UAE Chapter, UAE taskforce and members of the Young Arab Leaders.

Saeed Al Muntafiq said,

"Bill Clinton is considered one of the most prominent international figures who has contributed to the process of global development. He is renowned for his active participation and presence at the international level to help in dealing with issues of development on the economic, social and political fronts."


He added, "This meeting is an example of the UAE Chapter's endeavors to strengthen its ties with the world's most prominent leaders, in order to achieve the Young Arab Leaders goal of developing the Arab youth and making them capable of leading the region to a better future. There is no doubt that this vision is one shared by the global leaders, given that the youth is a vital factor in creating the necessary changes to achieve development at all levels."

During the meeting the members of the Young Arab Leaders - UAE Chapter exchanged views on a number of matters, shared their vision for the future, and the part they are looking forward to playing in leading the ongoing development process.

Bill Clinton praised the efforts that Young Arab Leaders has made in offering opportunities to youth to qualify and train them and catalyzing their role in leading the society as the youth are the main drivers for change and progress.
