Etisalat payment options empower customers with choice and convenience

Emirates Telecommunications Corporation- Etisalat- has opened up many options for its customers to make payments.

Apart from the prepaid scratch cards used for a whole range of prepaid services like international calling, prepaid Internet and mobile recharge, there are seven other channels that customers can use to pay Etisalat bills or recharge their prepaid credit.

Mohammed Al Fahim, Executive Vice President- Marketing, Etisalat, said:

"As customer service is our prime focus, we are constantly on the look out for ways to enhance our services, and offering various means of recharging and paying bills is something that touches each one of our customers. They have eight ways to transact with Etisalat, and using some facilities like our e4me portal, channels of leading banks, and paying at any Emirates Post outlet will even get the customer 10 per cent extra credit free of charge."


Etisalat's e-shop, www.e4me.ae, allows customers to create a user ID and transact on all their Etisalat accounts from their PC. Topping-up credit on a 'Wasel' account through this website will get the customer 10 per cent extra for free. All postpaid account bills too can be paid through this portal.

Customers can use various bank channels to transact on their Etisalat accounts, including paying bills or topping up prepaid accounts. Using a bank channel to recharge Wasel will also get the customer 10 per cent extra credit for free. Customers can use the ATM, contact centres or IVR, SMS banking, or visit the bank counters, depending on the channels made available to their customers by each bank. These facilities are currently offered at Citibank, Mashreq Bank, Habib Bank, Commercial Bank of Dubai, Dubai Islamic Bank and Emirates Bank, with many other banks waiting to sign up to the service.

Banks can also be instructed to debit the customer's account directly, to ensure that the payments reach Etisalat on time, without the customer's intervention.

Etisalat customers can now benefit from a partnership with Emirates Post that allows all Etisalat financial services to be available through offices of Emirates Post. Recharging a 'Wasel' account through an Emirates Post offices will also get the customer 10 per cent excess of the amount credited to their 'Wasel' accounts free-of-charge. Prepaid and postpaid accounts can be paid for at Emirates Post offices.

Other options include all Etisalat Business Centres that accept payments towards both prepaid and postpaid accounts, and Etisalat's 242 cash payment machines, located strategically in busy areas like shopping malls, airports, and Etisalat offices. The prepaid scratch card from Etisalat, apart from recharging 'Wasel', can also be used for international dialing from fixed lines or pay phones, prepaid Internet access and purchasing of pay-per-view programming on E-Vision. Cheques can also be mailed to Etisalat to make payments.
