- PRESS RELEASE
Novell, aiming at creating Linux and IDM (Identity Management Solutions) awareness, held a seminar in Bahrain at Movenpick on November 14'th along with its GOLD partner Al Faris technologies.
Nsure Identity Management solution offers all the required features like User provisioning, Password management, User self-service, customization, Role-based administration, System-wide auditing and reporting and Address book which makes it complete IDM solution today. Most of the enterprise customers are struggling to manage, secure or audit their heterogeneous IT infrastructures, Novell's Identity Manager is the world leader in these areas.
The seminar was a great success with many prestigious clients and partners attending the seminar. It gave the customers a real experience on the Linux offerings like the Open Enterprise Server (OES) and SUSE LINUX Enterprise Server 9. In addition to this, the attendees had the opportunity to learn about Our Resource Management software on Linux (ZENworks) , eDirectory and the other Linux based services and technologies from Novell as well (e.g. Novell iFolder, Novell iPrint, Novell Virtual Office).
"We achieved what we aimed for. We could feel it in the sessions we did. Customers were quite inquisitive to know every minute detail of these products and felt much more confident and comfortable using Linux and IDM solutions." Said Hazem Bayado - Sales Director - Novell Middle east.
'The sessions were Interactive which clearly depicted how eager and demanding the region was, to know more about our products and solution on Linux. It was a good welcome for us in the region, which we look to build and equip with all our support and technological strengths,' he added.
Novell realizes that there is a need for such awareness in the region. With Linux growing at a rapid rate, customers are interested in learning more about Linux and the ways to use and implement long term Linux strategies in their organizations. Today what lacks is not the interest or the eagerness to adapt to Linux, but it is the education on these products. - said Vinay Akhil - Country Manager - Novell Middle East.
