Charting out an action-packed course for DSF 2006

The meeting, which also discussed the preparations of the annual event and the road show plan, was attended by Saeed Mohammed Al Nabouda, DSF CEO, Ibrahim Saleh, the COO, Laila Suhail, the CMO, Yousif Mubarak, Events, Operations and Services Director and heads of the Organising Committee from various participating Government departments.

While presiding over the meeting, Saeed Al Nabouda praised the efforts of
the Dubai Municipality in organising the meeting in Zabeel Park while pointing out the importance the DSF office places on public parks and places of tourist interest. Al Nabouda also stressed the role of the DSF office in highlighting the entertainment aspects of the festival

The Organising Committee members representing various Government Departments put up their individual action plans coming under their jurisdiction and apprised the gathering with the progress of their strategy for the fast-approaching DSF2006. They also exchanged notes and sought suggestions for the implementation of their plans.

The members also had a look at the print media advertising DTCM campaign of DSF 2006 while Al Nabouda informed them about the launch of the TVC campaign and the road shows to be held in the GCC, Pakistan, Russia, Iran and India. Finally, the members discussed the celebration hour of the DSF opening ceremony which Al Nabouda promised to highlight more in the next meeting. The members also discussed the participation of the Dubai Cultural Council and the traditional bands show.
