The Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) is participating at ESTATEX 2005, the 3rd edition of the Estate & Housing International Exhibition, being held in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia between November 20-24.

Dubai has thrown open the doors of its booming real estate sector for private investments and the real estate exhibition will prove to be an effective platform to woo private investors and residents of AGCC countries to buy property in Dubai.

Mr. Khalifa Ali Buamaim, DTCM Manager Overseas Promotions, said
"DTCM is participating in the event for the first time and highlight the emirate's phenomenal growth in the real estate sector in recent years."

The DTCM will make its presence felt at the pan-Arab real estate and housing exhibition and will be supported by three co-participants, Land Department, Nakheel and JAFZA. The DTCM is being represented by Mr. Omar Al Qurashi, Executive Overseas Promotions, at the five-day international exhibition.

The ESTATEX is a prestigious real estate exhibition that brings together real estate companies from all over the GCC on a single platform in an effort to showcase the investment potential in the real estate sector in these countries.

In 2004, there were over 70 companies from the UAE, Bahrain, Egypt, Kuwait and the UK representing contracting and consulting companies, banks and financial establishments, engineering companies, investment funds, holding companies and those involved in the insurance sector.

The exhibition attracted more than 3,500 visitors in 2004 with a larger turnout expected in 2005.
