Serco exhibits integrated aviation technologies at Dubai Air Show 2005

Serco, the world's largest non-state provider of aeronautical services, will showcase its specialised capabilities comprising air traffic operations, aeronautical systems, aviation security, telecommunications and meteorological systems at the Dubai Air Show, November 20-24, 2005.

The exhibit will be led by Serco Aeronautical Services and Serco Technology Solutions comprising IAL (UAE) and ATS (Bahrain & Qatar) together with long-time partners Rapiscan, GE, Frequentis and Vaisala.

Visitors to the stand will be able to gain an insight into various state of the art systems that Serco has been providing to Civil Aviation Authorities across the Middle East for over 40 years. Attendees will also be able to discuss their immediate aviation needs and future integrated transport requirements with Serco experts.

Exhibiting Hand Baggage X-Ray Screening Equipment, Walk-Through Metal Detectors and Threat Image Projection Management & Analysis Systems. Rapiscan is a leading supplier of cutting edge technologies and a full range of detection solutions for Baggage and Parcel Inspection, Cargo and Vehicle Inspection, Hold Baggage Screening and People Screening.

• GE Infrastructure Security, USA
Exhibiting Walk-Through, Desktop and Hand Held Contraband Trace Detection Systems and Substance Identification Systems. GE is a leading supplier of Explosives Detection Systems based on the Computerized Tomography & X-Ray Diffraction Technologies together with the Non-Intrusive Trace Detection of contraband using the patented ITMS technology and the Laser RAMEN technology.

• Frequentis, Austria
Exhibiting Aeronautical Voice Communication Control Systems (VCCS - Voice Switches) & Electronic Flight Strip Systems. Frequentis is a leading supplier of CNS/ATM Communication systems as well as systems for Air Defence, Maritime, Public Safety and Transport Markets.

• Vaisala, Finland
Featuring Aeronautical Weather Observation Systems. Vaisala is the global leader in Aviation Weather Systems, Upper-Air Observation Systems, optical instruments that measure Runway Visual Range, Visibility & Cloud Base Height, meeting ICAO standards.
