The South Korean premier's visit is to support the international exhibition debut of the T-50 Golden Eagle advanced trainer/fighter-lead-in-trainer produced by Korean Aerospace Industries (KAI) - the country's national aerospace and defence industries.

Dubai 2005 marks KAI's first participation at a Dubai air show. The T-50 was developed jointly by KAI and Lockheed Martin. The company currently has orders for close to 100 'Golden Eagle' trainers from the Republic of Korea Air Force.

The T-50 is performing in the Dubai 2005 daily flying display - one of more than 20 aircraft taking to the skies during the two-hour spectacular.
