AVEX participation in Dubai Exhibition aims at representing the Egyptian civil aviation sector in such an important international event, and also at promoting for AVEX 2006.
AVEX 2006 will be held under the auspices of the ministry of civil aviation with the support and sponsorship of Egypt Air and the companies subordinate to the Egyptian Holding Company for Airport and Air Navigation. The organizers of AVEX 2006 are keen on making its second exhibition a success, especially after the dazzling achievement of the first Expo. Mr. Ashraf Haridy, general manager of PROMOTRES, the organizing company, explains that AVEX's presence in other exhibitions and international events should help raise awareness and reinforce its position on the international exhibition agenda, adding that this is something they have already achieved.
Haridy also says that AVEX's participation in Dubai Aviation Exhibition is not the first one in international exhibitions; it was preceded by visits to Le Bourget, the world's oldest aviation exhibition, and also to EBACE (European Business Aviation Conference and Exhibition, all with the goal of promoting AVEX 2006 among professionals of the aviation industry and services.
Mr. Haridy praises the spirit of sincere co-operation that the management of Dubai Aviation Exhibition has shown through facilitating reservation, accommodation, and other services. He believes that such cooperation between Arab exhibitions should encourage several international companies to come to the Middle East that has become an international attraction of conferences and events.
He highlights the liberal concern that the ministry of civil aviation and its subordinate companies is taking of the exhibition, manifested in advice by lieutenant general, Mr. Ahmed Shafeek, Minister of Civil Aviation, is considered an assurance factor that AVEX will achieve its goal, namely the development of the civil aviation sector.
Many international companies that participated last year assert their wish to participate this year, in addition to other companies that have heard of the success that first exhibition achieved and wish to participate in the second Expo.
It is worth mentioning that AVEX is the only exhibition in the region and Africa that specializes in civil aviation, and that includes charters, private airplanes, cargo airplanes, helicopters, and training planes. The exhibition also features service companies, such as information technology and communication companies, cargo companies, land and air services companies, technical support and maintenance companies, and planes and airports equipping companies.
