Cathay Pacific Country Manager for UAE and Oman, James Evans said:
"We are pleased to offer our customers special flights to Mumbai so that they may spend the holidays with their family and friends. The service shows Cathay Pacific's willingness to offer greater choice and convenience to passengers. It also demonstrates our ability to meet demand on popular routes."
Cathay Pacific operates additional seasonal flights to Mumbai every year to facilitate growing needs of passengers travelling to India. The move comes at the same time as India temporarily lifts its cap on flights during the country's peak travel season.
Cathay Pacific recently walked away with three prestigious awards, "Asia's Leading Airline," "Asia's Leading Business Class Airline," and "World's Leading Use of In-flight Technology" at the annual World Travel Awards - one of the most prestigious events on the travel industry's calendar.
