LG new LCD range

LG Electronics has released a range of large screen LCD monitors, including a 55-inch monitor with XGA screen and a 42-inch with inbuilt PC. Prices for LCDs have fallen substantially due to oversupply, with demand set to outstrip that for CRT monitors by 2008, according to IDC. LG says it aims to take 54% of the Mideast market share by selling 586,000 units in 2005.
