The Color Calibrated Monitors allow the newspaper's production team to maintain accurate and press matching colors all over the workgroup, allowing users to view predictable colors on their monitors.
With the introduction of the Computer To Plate technology, newspapers request clients to send them digital files. This process is needed in order to incorporate the advertisements into the printed job electronically.
With the above in place, newspaper production users need to rely on their monitors to preview the correct colors and predict the output of such colors on their printing presses. EIZO ColorEdge monitors are known for their hardware calibration capabilities, and accurate color rendition.
'In today's all digital workflow, our newspaper cannot afford to loose time and money on traditional and analog proofing systems,' said Mr, Raashid Hussain, I.T. Manager at Emirates Today.
'We needed accurate color reproduction right at the user's desk. EIZO Monitors have been able to allow our users to view the colors on the screen exactly how they will be printed, and therefore, reduce errors and un-predictable mistakes, before they happen. Emirates Today completely supports state of the art digital technologies such as Digital Editorial & Ad management systems.' added Mr. Hussain.
'EIZO monitors are a huge success story in the Graphic Design and Publishing Industry,' said Joe Karkour - General Manager for Layout Middle East and distributor for EIZO in the GCC region. 'With prestigious organizations like Emirates Today adapting this kind of Color Management technology, these products are finding their way into every serious graphic designer's desk.' Added Mr. Karkour.
