Emirates $2.5bn GE deal

Emirates Airlines' purchase order for 42 Boeing 777 aircraft, with rights for an additional 20 planes, will be powered by GE90 engines in a deal worth $2.5bn which includes maintenance and service, according to statement by General Electric. The engines are covered by a GE's 12-year, OnPointSM Solution service agreement.
