"This award recognises Mr Jum'ah's efforts in publicly raising the profile and influence of the world's largest oil producing company in the ongoing global debates on energy with his cautious optimism,"
said Eileen Michael, Publisher, Reflex Publish Middle East, which organises the awards via the company's Pipeline Magazine.
"Jum'ah is the driving force in spreading Saudi Aramco's message worldwide as well as reminding us that without petroleum and associated products, the world would be unable to feed itself, to manufacture goods, deliver services, trade with one another, or to sustain current standards of living."
The award to Jum'ah brought double honours for Saudi Aramco, which was named 'Best Company In Environment.'
"Saudi Aramco's concern for the environment is all-encompassing," said Michael. "It has an active Environment Protection Department and has developed a broad array of engineering standards, performance guidelines, environmental assessments, air and water quality standards, hazardous material communication guidelines, waste management procedures and vital oil spill contingency plans."
Saudi Aramco's win also puts in firmly in the Excellence In Energy Awards' 'Hall of Fame' having last year taken the overall 'Excellence In Energy Award.'
