Anticipating a huge visitor attendance, organisers dmg world media Dubai Ltd., promise trade professionals including architects, designers, contractors, developers, public and commercial buyers, importers, agents, distributors, manufacturers and retailers, the biggest and best ever Index in the successful 15 year history of the show.
A unique and comprehensive industry showcase, Index 2005 will feature 1,500 exhibitors from 46 countries, including 31 national groups. Visitors will be able to see the very latest award winning products and designs from the world's leading companies, many of which will be being shown for the first time anywhere in the region.
"New ideas and innovations are always a key feature of Index. "Many of our exhibitors are keeping their product launches secret until the show opens, but visitors can look forward to a vibrant and exciting exhibition that will be packed with truly inspirational creativity and, as always, plenty of surprises."
said Kim Willis of dmg world media Dubai Ltd.
Covering over 30,000 square feet of floor space, Index, internationally acknowledged as one of the most important interiors events anywhere in the world, this year completely fills the Dubai International Exhibition Centre complex - all eight halls plus the Sheikh Rashid Hall, Al Multaqua Hall, The Pavilion and The Marquee.
"With the Gulf region continuing to expand at a phenomenal rate - imports into the region are currently worth in excess of US$4.1 billion - and the incredible pace of residential and commercial property development throughout the region, which is set to increase yet further, there will continue to be significant growth in imports of furniture and interiors," added Willis. "This has generated a massive surge of interest in interiors, and Index therefore continues to grow, both in terms of size and significance to the regional and international interiors industry."
Index 2005, the definitive showcase for the interiors industry in the Middle East and North Africa, runs for five days at the Dubai International Exhibition Centre, from 28 November to 2 December.
"Index is all set to once again demonstrate why it is the industry's leading showcase and a vital visit for anyone involved in the interiors industry," concluded Bernard Walsh, Managing Director of dmg world media Dubai Ltd.
