Hussain Al Meeza, managing director, AMAN, said:
"As a leading provider of Islamic-based insurance products in the UAE, AMAN has succeeded in stabilizing its existence in the insurance market."
"Although AMAN was launched in the market just under two years ago, the company has succeeded in retaining a good share of the local market as planned. The launch of the new branch in Sharjah is in line with AMAN's plans to meet growing demands for such insurance services," he added.
"Since it's establishment, AMAN's core principle has been to develop incrementally the Islamic insurance services. The launch of the new Sharjah branch is therefore integral to our commitment towards the community," Al Meeza said.
The Sharjah branch will provide comprehensive services and includes a wide range of insurance and re-insurance products and services, which conform to the Islamic Sharia.
The company also announced the opening of a new branch in Jabal Ali Free Zone in May 2005 to meet the growing demand for Islamic Insurance services in the Jabal Ali Free Zone.
The company aims to reach a prominent position in the UAE insurance sector by providing customer-focused services.
