Jordinvest unveils new developments at the 2nd Jordan Economic Forum

Jordan Investment Trust PLC (Jordinvest) is committed to contributing to investments in Jordan's economy and stands steadfast in its platinum sponsorship of the 2nd Jordan Economic Forum to be held on the 27th and 28th of November, under the patronage of His Majesty King Abdullah II.
As a spokesperson within the investment industry, Jordinvest will also be participating in two plenary sessions related to investment opportunities in privatization with Mr. Ahmad Tantash, Vice Chairman/CEO of Jordinvest chairing the session and also the outlook of banking in Jordan during which Mr. Tantash will discuss the role of the Amman Stock Exchange.
Jordinvest will be welcoming potential investors, media, and all participants at their booth during the forum which will also be available for the media to facilitate information related to Jordinvest and its participation at the Jordan Economic Forum.
More than a thousand participants including government members, political leaders and leading businessmen from Jordan, the Middle East, and worldwide are scheduled to attend the forum at the end of the month; only shortly after the terrorist attacks, clearly revealing the commitment of the worldwide business community to continue encouraging the economic development within the region.
Mr. Tantash said, "The recent terrorist attacks will not discourage Jordinvest from continuing to work towards His Majesty's vision of Jordan's economic and social development. Both public and private sectors are united in striving to achieve the desired results and the forum offers a platform for opportunities and investments to be formulated."
Jordinvest will be launching their unique and innovative Jordinvest Pan Arab Equity Fund during an exclusive workshop at the Forum. The Fund aims to increase investor's capital gains through diversified investments in strong companies throughout the countries in the region, following the success of their First Trust Fund, which was the first open ended fund to be created in Jordan by Jordinvest.
"With Jordinvest Pan Arab Equity Fund we are offering customers diversified investments in a strong portfolio of securities with high expected return. The Fund caters for various investment objectives of Jordanian and Middle Eastern investors, which will ultimately have a positive impact on Jordan's economic growth," Mr. Tantash added.
