In addition to the number of researchers from the Arab world, academic reports from the UK, South Africa, Germany, USA, India and Sweden, to name only a few countries were presented at the conference.
Dr. Khaled Khawaja, Chair of AUD's Information Technology Department said:
'We were very pleased with the turnout at the ICICKM 2005. It has been AUD's mission to provide and elevate the standard of knowledge and education in the region. Hosting such events provide us an opportunity to work towards our mission.'
Attendees enjoyed the inter-mingling session with many international academics and professionals during the Knowledge Café. They participated in various workshops that proved as an interactive and learning opportunity for all.

In 2006 this Conference will be held in Santiago de Chile and in 2007 in Cape Town, South Africa.
