Emirates Computers and Nokia participate in the first GCC E-Commerce event

Emirates Computers and Nokia participated as Gold Sponsors in the First GCC E-Commerce Conference & Exhibition which was held at the Intercontinental Hotel in Abu Dhabi last week.

Emirates Computers showcased the latest Nokia N-series phones, the unique Nokia communicator series for mobile business in addition to presenting its latest ecommerce and mobile computing portfolio. This prestigious event was inaugurated by General Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and UAE Defense Minister.

The First GCC E-Commerce Conference & Exhibition was organized by the Ministry of Economy and Planning under the patronage of General Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The Conference addressed key technical, cultural, motivational, environmental, legal, and governance issues that GCC countries face during the common e-commerce implementation stages and strategies.

HH Sheikh Mohammed was the keynote speaker at the conference, along with Shaikha Lubna Al Qasimi, Minister of Economy and Planning, and Hamad Abdul Rahman Al Attiya, secretary general of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).
