Royal Jet buys Bell, Avro

Abu Dhabi-based Royal Jet has expanded its private air charter services by buying an Augusta Bell AB139 helicopter and an Avro RJ 70 plane. The AB139 is capable of carrying up to 15 passengers at 157 knots, while the BAE-manufactured RJ 70 has a capacity of 30-40 seats in corporate configuration, with a range of 1,650 nautical miles.
