Synergy Software Solutions hold regional seminars

A seminar held at the Al Bustan Rotana Hotel in Dubai attracted a full house that gave a thumbs up to the presentations.

Stephen Jones, Commercial Director of Synergy Software Systems, outlined the company's long experience of delivering software solutions for the construction industry. He went on to present an analysis of what had been learnt about the challenges of providing such a solution for this industry, in this region, and the key components needed for an integrated solution..

Wolfgang Flatscher International Business Development Manager for RIB then demonstrated the deep estimation, tendering, and BOQ based functionality that has made RIB the market leader for 40 years in Germany, with wide adoption internationally.

Tamer Farouk, Business Consulting Manager from Oracle, then presented Oracle's wide functionality for: Project Management, Supply Chain Management and financials. He also presented some case studies of why so many large construction companies are already using Oracle.

Jennifer Vaz, Executive Director of Synergy Software Systems, then explained how Synergy has architected a solution for the Middle East that integrates the best features of both RIB and Oracle. She then gave a closer insight into the new features in Oracle Projects that were released in the summer, and the detailed functionality for project costing control, earned value reporting, purchasing, fixed asset, work order, inventory and financial.

A lively question and answer session and a first class lunch finished a very informative morning.
