The A380 made its maiden journey to the Middle East for the 9th annual Dubai Airshow.

ENOC Aviation is a leading supplier of quality jet fuel that provides aircraft refueling services at Dubai, Sharjah and Fujairah international airports. This is the 9th consecutive year that ENOC Aviation has participated in and successfully managed the fuel requirements of military and non-milarity participants at Dubai's international aerospace exhibition.

"I am extremely pleased that ENOC Aviation was selected to re-fuel the Airbus A380,"

said Hussain Sultan, ENOC Group Chief Executive and Board Member. "This is significant achievement for the ENOC Aviation team who worked extremely hard to put this deal together and re-enforce our position as Dubai's leading aviation fuel supplier."

"To fuel the Airbus A380, our team had to gear up well in advance. We used sophisticated equipment with greater reach and higher flow rate and put our staff under specialized training in line with stringent international standards laid down by Airbus," added Mr. Sultan.

ABOUT ENOC AVIATION
ENOC Aviation is a subsidiary of Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC) Group. Customer focus and service are the hallmarks of ENOC Aviation's management philosophy and are embodied in its refueling equipment design as well as information technology, customer care and quality and environmental management systems.

The company's commitment to environmental protection has been demonstrated with the deployment of the Middle East's first solar-powered refueling service unit at Dubai International Airport.

Continuing growth within the UAE's aviation industry has led ENOC Aviation to initiate a number of developmental programmes. These include the installation of a 57 kilometer aviation fuel pipeline stretching from Jebel Ali Free Zone to Dubai International Airport. Designed to meet Dubai International Airport's aviation fuel requirements well into the 21st century, the pipeline took over a year to install and commission. It has a capacity of 460,000 barrels of Jet A-1 a day - more than Dubai International Airport's projected requirements up to 2020.

ENOC Aviation, a registered fuel service supplier in the IATA partnership programme, is actively pursuing entry into other local and international airports.
