wa international appointed as interior design consultant on Emaar Properties' prestigious Burj Dubai Lake Hotel Project

wa international, with over twenty-seven years of experience in designing luxury hotel interiors, was selected from a prestigious group of internationally renowned interior design firms, as the ideal choice for this prestigious development. Design Director Claire Craig says, 'We are very pleased to be part of such a dynamic team. It was important to develop a strong, distinctive, progressive interior design to compliment the unique architectural exterior as created by architects W.S. Atkins Overseas. The curvilinear design of the building has resulted in some very unique and exciting spaces.'

'The new development is dazzling in its concept and design.' Helen Skea, senior interior designer explains, ' Our vision is to bring the essence of the Arabian Gulf, the mountains, the wadi's, the sand dunes and the sea into its interiors. Using the warm colors of the desert and mountains, accentuated with the brilliant hues and blues of the sea and sky.'

Due to the unique shape of the building, quite a number of inherently unique hotel and apartment layouts were created, each offering a wide expanse of glass and thereby creating an airy feel with spectacular views. The overall feel for this project is stylish and sophisticated, yet timeless and unforgettably unique. The Burj Dubai Lake Hotel will redefine luxury modern living.

At completion, programmed for mid 2008, this glamorous 63-storey building will overlook Emaar's iconic Burj Dubai Tower, and numerous other prestigious developments within the Emaar Burj Dubai precinct.
