According to a recent Forrester Highlight by industry analysts Natalie Lambert and Laura Koetzle, viruses, worms, spyware and spam top SMBs' IT security concerns with spyware ranking second to viruses, and worms at 61 percent. In the same survey, spyware was found to cause anxiety for IT workers.
75 percent of CIOs and top IT executives, and 66 percent of directors and managers of IT, said they are concerned about spyware. In addition, enterprise users were found to face compliance requirements that make defending against spyware a more critical issue, with 69 percent of enterprise users seeing spyware as a major issue.
