Christina Thostrup, international event director for Leaders in Dubai, commented, "The international leadership summit Leaders in Dubai brings together nine political, government and corporate leaders - including Madeleine Albright - to debate leadership issues in the region and around the globe."

"As such, it was fitting that Saudi Oger introduced Dr Albright, as the company retains a high profile in the region, and is clearly a quality driven industry leader integrating Western technology with local knowledge."

Albright was voted in during the Clinton administration as the first woman Secretary of State of the United States. She was the highest ranking women in the history of the US government at that time. Between 1976 and 1978 she served as Chief Legislative Assistant to U.S. Senator Edmund S. Muskie, she was a member of President Carter's National Security Council and White House staff between 1978 and 1992 and from 1993 - 1997, Albright also served as the United States Permanent Representative to the United Nations and as a member of the President's Cabinet between 1993 to 1997.

A diplomat of exceptional ability, during her tenure Albright expanded and modernised NATO, and was instrumental in NATO's successful campaign to reverse ethnic cleansing in Kosovo; the promotion of peace in the Balkans; the reduction of nuclear dangers from Russia; the expansion of democracy in Europe, Africa, Asia, and Latin America; the expansion of the US multifaceted relationship with China, including trade and human rights; and the growth of trade in the Americas, as well as in Africa through the African Growth Opportunity Act.

Dr. Alnowaiser stressed,

"We are considered industry leaders due to our unique combination of the latest technical expertise with local business knowledge, cultural sensibility and undoubted service quality. It was an honour and a privilege to be chosen by Leaders in Dubai to introduce Dr. Madeleine Albright, whose skills have bridged the divides of nationality, race, religion and gender and is without question one of the leading lights of modern international diplomacy".
